• 1 Kg Rohi Macha
  • 20 cloves garlic paste
  • 2 inch medium ginger Paste
  • 4 medium onion paste
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato paste
  • 1 medium tomato finely cut
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp curry masala
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 Dry red chili
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 Bay Leaf
  • 7 tbsp mustard Oil
  • Salt as teast

Rohi Macha Jhola Cooking Process :

Wash the Rohu fish pieces and add 1 tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp salt and mix well.

In a medium flame pan and add 2 tbsp mustard oil

Fry the fish till the pieces becomes golden brown. Then take it out.

Heat the pan add 2 tbsp mustard oil. Once hot, add red dry chili and 1 tsp cumin seeds.

Add finely chopped onion and stir fry until golden. Now add bay leaf and stir for 1 min.

Add the grind masala paste, turmeric powder, 2 tsp salt and 1 tsp chili powder to the pan and stir fry for 15 mins

Add finely chopped tomato and stir fry for 5 mins

Add curry masala and garam masala. Stir fry for 5 mins

Add 2 cups water and mix well. Bring the gravy to boil. Now add the fish pieces to the gravy and cover the pan for 3 mins.

Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.
