• Rava /semolina/suji 1 Cup
  • Sugar ¼ cup
  • Peanuts ¼ cup
  • Cashew 6-8
  • Raisins 10-15
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Cumin seed ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder
  • Curry leaf 1 sping
  • Water 1 cup hot
  • Oil/ghee 6-7tbsp

Sweet Suji Upma Process of Cooking

Heat a heavy bottom pan; add 2tbsp oil then add peanuts & stir it till crackle with golden colour.

Same pan; add into the cashew, raisins & fry till golden color. Keep aside it.

Same pan heat 5tbsp oil adds cumin seed crackle then add curry leafs, add suji, turmeric powder & stir it till roast the suji get good aroma also crisp.

Then add salt with sugar & mix it then immediately pour into the hot water then mix it well & close with lid for 3-4 minutes on a low flame.

Checks the salt, sugar or water also adds more if required.

Lastly add fried dry fruits & mix it well same process cook for 1-2 minutes.

Turn off the flame & rest them for 5minutes with lid.

You can add fried curry leafs.

Now ready to serve.
