• 2 Cup Basmati Rice
  • 4 Cup of Water
  • 4 Tbs Desi Ghee
  • 2 Tbs Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Kaju Kismis
  • 1 Cup Greated Carrot (Gajar)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2/3 No of Elaichi in Tejpatta
  • 2 Pinch Haldi Powder

Wash the Rice.
Heat the pressure cooker and add the ghee.
When the ghee heats fry all the kajus and keep it and the add the tejpatta and elaichi to the ghee and fry for 1/2 second in low flame.
Then add the rice and fry it for 2-3 minutes.
Then add salt, sugar, gajar, haldi powder and fried kaju n kismis.
Then add 4 cups water to it.
After 1 whistle turnoff the flame.
Your pulao is ready to eat.
