• 1 Take some Fresh okra(bhendi)
  • 2 cups yogurt (thick)
  • 2 tbs of mustard paste
  • 3 tomatoes cut into peices
  • 1 medium onion (cut into halves and sliced lenghtwise)
  • 1 sp panch phutan( mustard, methi, sauf, ,jeera ,fenal)
  • 1 sprig of curry leaves
  • 1 sp gram flour (besan)
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric
  • oil
  • 1 sp of garlicand ginger paste

1 First wash, dry and fry the okra in an open pan with some oil till they are soft and keep it aside

2 Then in a deep dish put some oil and add panch phutan and curry leaves. When they start to
splatter add onion and fry till translucent. then add tomatoes and cook till they leave oil.

3 Mix well yogurt, besan, mustard paste & ginger garlic paste and pour it into the dish. Let it boil , add
salt and turmeric . then add fried okra bring to a boil and switch off heat

4 Bhendi besara is prepared . Serve with rice
