• Mocha(Banana Flower)

Method: 

Chop the mocha finely and then soak in salted water (with a pinch of turmeric added) and soak overnight. This removes a bitter taste(the same must be done to kaanch kola which is green banana). Boil the mocha. Add the black cumin seeds and chillis(slitted) to the hot oil and allow to splutter. Add the mocha and stir. Add salt and sugar and cook till well fried and cook till moist (almost dry but not dry).
